Shri Digambar Jain Ancient Bada Mandir
This temple was established in 1174 and its founder is Devpal Soni. The responsibility of maintaining this institution rests with the Shri Digambar Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee, from charitable services to basic services in this temple.
An artistic ancient idol of Goddess Ambika is also installed in a room of the premises of Digambar Jain ancient Bada Mandir. The idol of Lord Neminath is seated on the head of Goddess Ambika. This ancient idol is believed to have been found during the excavation of a canal.
It is believed to be the oldest temple of Hastinapur. This temple is established at the birth place of Shri Shantinath ji, Shri Kunthunath ji and Shri Arhannath ji. In this temple a 5’11” tall standing statue of Lord Shantinath has been installed. 2 feet high, attractive black stone idol of Parshvanath is installed, on the right is a 7 feet high white idol of Lord Mahavir.
