Shri Ashtapad Tirtha

Shri Ashtapada Teerth was established by Shri Hastinapur Jain Shvetambara Teerth Trust on 31st January 1996 and this temple was inaugurated by Acharya Bhagwant Shrimad Vijay Indraditra Surishwar. This Ashtapada Teerth is dedicated to Lord Adityanath ji.

Shri Ashtapad Tirtha, whose height is 151 feet high, has the idol of Lord Rishabhdev ji installed in all four directions and has four gates connected to the prayer hall. Only five minutes stay is allowed at Jinalaya which is situated at the highest altitude.

The reason behind saying Ashtapad is its eight different mountain ranges Gaurishankar, Kailash, Badrinath, Nanda, Dronagiri, Narayan, Nar and Trishuli and according to Nirvanakand it is also known as Adishwar Swami. Kailash Bharat Chakraborty, who built 24 Tirthankar temples, got the name of the country after him.

The temple committee has fixed a time to visit the Ashtapad shrine, at the same time you can visit this temple, so this summer the time to visit is between 7:00 am to 12:00 am and 2 pm in the evening. Between :00 am to 6:00 pm. Talk about the same thing in winter, its darshan time has been fixed from 8:00 to 12:00 in the morning and from 2:00 to 5:00 in the evening.
