It is told that on September 11, 1973, when Babaji was in Vrindavan Ashram, suddenly his health deteriorated. Immediately after which his devotees took Baba to the nearby hospital. An oxygen mask was put on his mouth by the doctor. But Neem Karoli Baba removed that mask from his hand. Neem Karoli Baba told his devotees that now my last time has come. Quickly bring me Tulsi and Ganga water. When his devotees brought Tulsi and Ganga water, Neem Karoli Baba left his body after consuming it.
